K4 5000 Bag Only

My wife bought a K4 frame for me this most recent Christmas. I rounded it out with a 5000 bag and a lid. They’ve been great. I took the entire pack on a Texas hog hunt and turkey hunting this spring. I’ve also taken it to shoot coyotes. This fall I’m taking it deer, bear, and elk hunting. So far I’ve been training with it by loading it up with 100 lbs and hiking a few time weekly. Initially, I had some pinching in my left buttock from the hip belt, but that’s gone away as the bag’s broken in. The 5000 has been a bit spacious for turkey and coyote hunting, but I expected that. It folds down nicely, and will be just right for back country deer and elk hunting this fall. I’m thrilled with this pack.

I bought this bag for long weekend backpack Hunts and have throughly enjoyed it!!! The horseshoe pocket was the selling point for me. I absolutely love the ease of access and hope that one day, they can add that option to the 7000 bag!

I purchased a K4 2200 pack system last summer thinking I was going to cut my hunting kit down, but I found I just wasn't happy having so many items strapped to the outside of the 2200. So I bought a K4 5000 bag only, and swapped it out on my pack. After my own deer hunt and two others, and my own elk hunt this fall, I liked the additional space in the 5000 bag. And as always, the Exo packs are the absolute best at distributing the load. I can carry way more animal with a K4 pack than anything I've seen my partners carry. Thanks!

i love everything about how this pack is laid out. the only thing i wish is that the side pouches and the front stretch pocket had double zippers. this might not be an issue for most folks but for how im using this bag, that would be a game changer. i wish i could order some custom options. other than that personal minor thing, this bag cant be beat in my opinion. everything you need, nothing more, nothing less.
