I’ve used the Teratorn for a year now on a variety of western backpack and day hunts, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with how well it functions. The layout is incredibly well thought-out: nothing interferes with anything else, yet there are enough buckles and straps to secure loads. Everything remains accessible without having to undo more than one buckle or zipper.
The wings are incredibly useful for quick-access gear, and I now miss having them whenever I use another pack.
My only (occasional) complaint is the size. When the full 7,400-cubic-inch capacity isn’t needed, the pack does cinch down very well and remains functional. However, I've still found myself looking at the K4 2200 and 3600 for day-hunt use. But as nice as the smaller size would be, it just doesn't outweigh the functionality of the teratorn-style pack.
That said, the Teratorn truly excels as a backpack-hunting pack. EXO really knocked it out of the park with this one!
