Wrinkled calls

Call holder is too small and calls are difficult to get in and out and my calls always came out wrinkled up. I love exo but wouldn't recommend this product.

Brady, I'm not sure how this is happening for you unless you are trying to push the reed enitrely into the mesh pocket. The reed holder is designed so that a 1/4' or so of the reed should be sitcking out allowing you to grab it easily. Look at the photos posted on the product page here and you can see the reed sitting nice and flat in the pocket with about 1/4' hanging out so you can grab it. - Steve

A miss by exo

The bugle tube holder only lasted one day in the field before getting hung up on brush and being ripped off (never to be seen again).
As another review said push the reeds in too far and the get wrinkled and then don’t sit right in your mouth, I also had one fall out.

Hey Spencer. Sorry to hear you lost the bugle bungee — we're happy to send you a replacement, so I will contact you via email to make sure we get that sent to the right place. We haven't had issues with those coming undone or being lost during use, so hopefully that was a one-off fluke for you. Make sure that clasp is fully closed when you install the replacement that we'll be sending your way.

In terms of the reed holder, you are correct that they reeds could get wrinkled if you jam them in too far. As you can see in the photos/videos of the reed holder design, we purposely designed the holder so that the reed isn't entirely covered. This helps with ease of access when getting the reed in/out of the holder.

It works

It holds calls like it is intended to do. I was worried about the calls falling out but didn't have that problem as of yet. Would be nice to add a tab to grab for when sliding back in. I find that when you have gloves on or your fingers have lost some dexterity from the cold it can be a little difficult to get the calls back in so the tab would be a nice addition to help stretch it open easier.

The bugle holder works. Nothing super special about it. I use a pouch on both hip belts so I can't install it on my pack. I find that I can carry the bugle the same way though and just jamb the mouth piece in between the hip belt and pouch and it seems to work just as well.

Don’t push the calls in too far.

Might be out of fear of them falling out while trekking through brush but I pushed the calls in too far and when I pulled them out they were crinkled. Not a big deal as they straighten right out when you get them wet. Maybe a deeper pocket would fix this but I haven’t tested yet to see how well they stay in putting them in to where they are supposed to sit. Otherwise, great product and a great idea. Easily accessible, no more digging in pockets, and it dries them out while not in use.
