K3 Hipbelt for K2 Frame

Let me start by saying I love my K2 Pack and the accessories I purchased for it from EXO Mountain Gear. The only gripe I've ever had about this pack is it's hipbelt. Today I purchased a K3 hipbelt for my K2 pack. Wow! What a game changer! If you have a K2 pack this is a no brainer upgrade. Thicker webbing, better padding, better cinching, and better support, you just can't beat it. If you own a K2 model you need this upgrade!

I have had issues under high weight where the belt slowly releases and loosens. It’s been a pain. But the upgrade has made it a new pack. I have been training with a 80 lb sack of sand and a stair master. Pack is great now. I also still have the K2 with a 5500 bag but also bought a 2000 fusion bag which is my day pack or overnight pack. I love the versatility of XO. Sometimes i use a lid, sometimes it isn’t needed. Thanks Steve and Mark for designing some great stuff. So far I have not felt the need to upgrade to K3 but if convinced I probably would. By the way the belt is a great improvement. Thanks.

The K3 belt is a significant improvement over the K2. Thicker padding, wider webbing, better cinching. I am able to obtain better support with less cinching which equals more comfort. My pack literally felt 10 lbs lighter with the K3 belt. Thanks for the suggestion, Mark.
