One and done

I don’t understand how to get the rifle back in the carrier without taking the pack off. This isn’t about deploying the rifle on target or game, it’s about traveling through mixed terrain with out having to remove your pack a bunch. This one area I hunt I start in the bottom of a canyon and climb up to the ridge line. I cross a creek with willows and remove the rifle to hand carry so it doesn’t get hung up, I start climbing out the canyon and eventually reach the scrub oak and need to remove the rifle again , eventually I hit dark timber spruce or lodge pole and need to remove the rifle again to thread through the timber. So every time I remove rifle how do I get it back in the carrier and secure that top buckle without removing the pack. I got places to go and removing my pack 3-4 times as I’m working up the canyon doesn’t make sense to me. Now add in cold numb fingers.

Hi Clark. As we tried to show in the product video, we prioritized security and ease of access with our rifle carrier, but that comes at the expense of not being able to put the rifle back in the rifle carrier unless you take the pack off. We did expirment with designs that allowed us to put the rifle back in the carrier while wearing the pack, but those designs created insecurity and instability when the rifle was installed on the pack, and we weren't willing to accept that trade-off with our rifle carry system. Secure and fast!

This makes attaching/removing my rifle easy.

The top buckle keeps the gun secure so I don’t have to worry about it. ‘Drawing’ is quick.

This is an incredibly well thought out system that WORKS!

Works okay on my K2. Worth the money. Only issue I had was the bottom connection clips would sometimes come off the webbing when I would sit the pack down on the ground. Once I was aware of that happening and was being more careful didn’t have that problem again.

Haven’t played with this much yet so far am liking it though. Rifle hardly moves in it and don’t notice it too much other than rifle sticking up but that’s just give or take thing. It’s a little harder than I thought to get the rifle out on the fly but like I said I haven’t played with it much I’m sure with some practice it will work excellent. Wish there was another way to attach like loops on the bag to hook the back side the butt strap too because the ladder lock buckle on the bag bottom strap makes it a little hard to adjust them. I found that I liked having the butt holder far down for navigating through timber as most of our land is thick brush. Good product

Flops around

Mounted on the side, it works ok but if your pack isn’t at least partially full, it flops around a lot, even with the straps tight. There are better systems out there that I’ve found worked better.
