Yes, it actually is orange

The dissatisfaction with the orange color is overblown. I was concerned about buying the blaze orange lid based on the reviews. When I did receive it, I had to laugh. If you put it directly next to your hunter orange vest, it is a slightly darker shade of orange, but still very orange. I would describe it as a “safety” orange rather than a “hunter” orange. It may not be a perfect match for your instagram, but it will keep you highly visible in the woods. Ignore the whiners; it’s a useful piece.

Have 4800. videos of K3 lid looks like lid is inflated, keeps it’s shape or made of rigid materials. Meanwhile mine is collapsed and is flat as a pancake and never has the shape like the lids in the videos even when it is full. Gave three stars as it is not a bad lid but also not a gee-whiz this is spectacular lid. The lid is a spot for stretch fabric maybe we will see it on the next generation.
