K3 1800 Bag Features
- Horseshoe-shaped Zip Access provides expanded access to the main bag and features an internal weather-proof, double-sided silnylon pocket to help protect electronics
- Zippered Spotting Scope Pocket on the left side of the bag that fits most 80mm's on the market
- Zippered Side Pocket on the right side of the bag for binoculars, knives, headlamp, or similar items
- Lower Side Stretch Pockets hold tripod legs, water bottles, or keep small items readily accessible
- Quick-Access Load Shelf allows you to detach the bag from the frame in seconds, without removing load-lifter straps, making it easier than ever to secure loads between the bag and the frame
- Water Bladder Storage pocket features dedicated zip access, making it incredibly easy to access your water bladder at any time
- Wet Storage Compartment allows you to use the oversized bladder storage pocket and it’s waterproof liner to keep wet gear separate from the dry gear inside the main bag

I took this pack with me to do four day hikes along the Appalachian Trail.
I carried roughly 30 pounds each day for 10 miles and this pack never slowed me down or gave me problems with comfort.
If you’re looking for a daypack, this is it!! Be sure you have a K3 frame or else you’re SOL!
Love exo mtn. I run the 4800 for western hunting and I got the 1800 pack to use hunting whitetails and turkeys and what not. Added a lid and love it. Only complaint is the water bottle pockets on the side won't keep a Nalgene bottle in. It falls out constantly. Have to run a strap through the little hole on the lid to keep from losing it. I wish those pockets were deeper like on the 4800.

I use this bag on a K2 frame and apart from the bottom straps on the frame being wider than on the K3 it works great. Used it for this year to carry water, supplies, etc. while hiking with my family and it worked good for that. No doubt in my mind it will hold up like my K2 bag has.
