K4 2200 Bag Only

Quality is phenomenal.

Purchased and used the 2200 pack, frame, lid, nalgene holder, and side pouch for a 10 day archery ek hunt. I wanted a smaller pack for my style of day hunting. This pack was perfect for me. Holds all my gear for the day and stays compact and tight to the frame. Decided to take 1 night and sleep with the bulls and was able to stuff enough gear in it, with the lid, for an overnight stay. I used the lid with a sweatshirt in it as a pillow, it worked great. Watch the videos to get the frame adjusted correctly. When I set up to call, with the packs I had used prior, I couldn’t wait to get them off my back and then dreaded putting them back on. Now I leave my pack on. I’m not sold on the water bottle holder. Had to remind myself to get it out and drink from it. It is convenient and easy to use, just out of sight out of mind for me. I switched back to a water bladder after a few days. At checkout, I had a little sticker shock, but after my hunt was over, I didn’t have any regrets. Very happy with this purchase and looking forward to putting it back on next fall.

I actually stuffed this down into my 7200 on our elk trip this year. Once we set up camp, the 7200 stayed put and I rolled around with this. It made an awesome day pack. It fit my puffys, rain gear, first aid, and kill kit with no trouble. I followed Exo's advice and swapped the buckles on the back to the locking ones and it worked great for carrying my bow. The low profile meant a lot fewer snags traversing blow downs and it works as a nice backrest glassing. I liked the function so well that it's become my all-season whitetail bag as well. Really smart, minimalist design. Love it.

I used this bag on both my rifle deer and archery elk hunts this fall. It’s just the right size for a day pack and carried around my tripod and 95 ATX plus other gear.
