The K4 Packout Strap Set was primarily developed to secure and stabilize the head and antlers during a packout, when not using a K4 Lid. (See how the K4 Lid is normally used to secure antlers in this video.)
This accessory is perfect for users of the K4 2200 Daypack, since that pack system does not come with a lid by default. Since all of our packs can be used without a lid, these straps can be used with any of our pack systems.
These Packout Straps attach from the top of the frame to the top of the bag, securing the head and antlers at the top of the pack.
