Looking back on my journey, and the journey of fellow hunters, there seems to be a certain path of growth for backpack hunters. Reflecting on this journey reminds you how far you've come and helps you recognize those little victories throughout the years. This journey is the Evolution of a Backpack Hunter.
When it comes to hunting big game, primarily in the vastness of the west, versatility is the name of the game. It applies to the method of take, the gear we use and even the time of year we choose to hunt. We need to be swiss-army knives in the hills, and this includes how we camp.
Your weapon and other gear are your tools, and when something doesn't work right, it can easily cost you an animal that you have worked so hard to pursue. Here are some small equipment checks that will pay off big in the end.
As a small company, we don't have the resources to attend the countless hunting shows and outdoor expos that happen all across the country. But we do try to visit at least a couple of shows each year.
We have two opportunities in February of 2020 for you to come see the new K3 Pack Systems, purchase with exclusive show-special pricing, or just come hang out and swap some hunting stories...
February 5-9: Pacific Northwest Sportsmen's Show in Portland, Oregon
February 13-16: Western Hunting & Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City, Utah
Hope to see you then!
