Quickly separate the bag from the frame and carry any load between the bag and frame. Compression straps built into the frame offer secure compression for quarters, boned-out meat, load cells, or similar items.
Roll-Top Access & Compression
Roll-Top Access & Compression
All K4 Bags feature roll-top access into the main bag. The roll-top also allows you to expand/contract the pack volume as more/less space is needed.
Efficient Zip Access
In addition to the roll-top access into the main bag, all K4 Packs feature front zip access. The K4 5000 has horseshoe-shaped zip access, while the K4 3600 & K4 7200 feature a full-length straight side zip.

A zippered front panel built with specialized stretch fabric offers quick and secure access to items you need throughout the day, such as an extra layer, a glassing pad, gloves, or similar items.

Every K4 Pack features full-length, zippered side pockets on both sides of the bag. The pocket is pleated, offering spacious storage for full-size spotting scopes, even when the main bag is full.

Built with stretch material, both sides of every K4 bag feature top-entry side pockets that work great for tripods, trekking poles, water bottles, and the like. The pack's upper side compression strap keeps tall items secure.

Dual-compartment side pockets feature a quick-access compartment, keeping essential items easily accessible while you are wearing the pack. Perfect for your headlamp, gloves, phone, snacks, or other commonly used gear.

Laser-cut MOLLE panels on the hipbelt and shoulder harness offer secure mounting of K4 Accessories, as well as 3rd-party MOLLE-compatible accessories and holsters.
K4 Lid Included
Every K4 Pack System comes with the K4 Lid. The lid offers two storage compartments that add nearly 650ci to the pack's capacity. The lid also works great as a compression panel when packing out a skull and antlers at the end of a successful hunt.

All K4 Bags feature a dedicated water bladder compartment. The waterproof lining and bottom drain grommet keep your gear dry if your bladder leaks. The area also works great to keep wet items (such as a tent fly) separate from the dry gear inside the main bag.

Integrated compression straps on the face of the pack work great to secure your bow to the bag. For rifles, we have a Quick-Release Rifle Carrier accessory, or you can also strap your rifle directly to the face or side of the pack.

All K4 Packs ship with a pair (1 male, 1 female) of accessory locking buckles, which are perfect to secure awkward loads. Use them on shed antlers, your weapon, or more. Additional locking buckles can be added, if needed.

After 60 days of using and abusing the K4 Prototype last fall, I can confidently say that it is the most comfortable, complete, and capable hunting pack that I have ever owned. It was clearly created for serious hunters, by serious hunters.
The new K4 is the best pack I have used to date. I used a K4 Prototype on 5 big game hunts this past fall and could tell that it was strategically built for comfort and is tough enough to withstand the most extreme hunting and backpacking adventures.

The K4 5000 is the most comfortable and simple, yet very versatile pack I’ve ever used. I’ve put a lot of miles and weight on this pack this season here in Montana and am very impressed with its performance. The K4 makes those 80+ lb packs a breeze. 10/10

I've been training with this pack all summer/fall and eventually used it for a moose hunt in Alaska in mid-September. This pack remains exceptionally comfortable and distributes the load perfectly even with 200lbs of moose meat. After the first load, I dropped the pack and attached the crib load panel, which (once attached) made it easy to load up more quarters and game bags.
Prior to the meat haul, the pack was easy to use and comfortable for packing in and out gear and also for a day pack. I've beat the heck out of the pack during training and hunting and it shows almost no signs of wear.

I have several packs throughout my life. I went down to the hunt depot looked at all the packs, after talking to the guys at EXO they made feel the best about their pack. So I pulled the trigger on the K4 5000. Used it in the spring for a bear hunt wasn’t able to come out with a bear, but packed all the gear perfectly. Well was able to put the pack through its true test this fall on an elk hunt. We walked 3 miles on some of roughest terrain the Frank Church can offer. I made 2 trips to get the elk this was the heaviest load I have ever packed. Not only did it test me physically but mentally. I am still new to the pack out on your back system, but I can testify after 12 miles of some the toughest terrain the K4 design put a the pressure on all the right parts of your body to get the load out. In shorts if anyone is to question is this the right pack design these guys have done their homework they lives and breathe their product. I am sold I have 3 boys there all getting one. Truly a solid product excellent work guys

I have a k4 with the 5000 bag. It is awesome! I would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, sturdy, well built, American made pack. I also have a Kifaru duplex lite with a hoodlum bag. It’s a very good pack as well but the k4 beats it in every way for my hunting style. The frame on the k4 moves with you better, the bag layout is easier to use, and organize. the base weight is less. getting to the meat shelf is easier. Again the Kifaru is a great pack but the k4 is a step above in every area…I’ve given the Kifaru to my son and the k4 is now my primary pack. I haven’t been lucky enough to haul meat yet, but with my training hikes it has handled weight like a champ. The accessories fit well and are easy to use. Absolutely 0 complaints!!!!
